ETCR official test @ Aragón
Hyunday and CUPRA ran together in Spain
The Hyundai Motorsport and CUPRA Racing teams joined to take part in an ETCR official test organised by WSC at Motorland Aragón.
The event marked the first test on a real racetrack for the CUPRA eRacer, following the successful integration of the ETCR kit at Williams Advanced Engineering. CUPRA Racing's experienced driver Jordi Gené sat at the wheel of the car.
In the Hyundai camp, former TCR International Series champion Jean-Karl Vernay, freshly signed as development driver in addition to Augusto Farfus, took the wheel of the Veloster N ETCR for the very first time.
The test was supervised by the staff of WSC Technical Department, while personnel from Williams Advaned Engineering, Enel X and Magelec provided technical support.
ETCR testing programme will continue in Italy, at Vallelunga's Autodromo Piero Taruffi, on March 1/3.
